My favorite is Lucy:D She is only there for a short tome, but I like her. I also like Hwin a bit. I don`t know why. And I must not forget Bree! I think he is very funny. And that he rolled on his back. Haha:D

Good point, Pirate King.

I like the vizier, myself. His constant proverbs are hilarious, and the parts where Rabadash gets mad at him are some of the best sections. I enjoy the humorous characters that Lewis wrote - he had a knack for lighthearted humor. So Lasaraleen and the Vizier are two of my favourite characters because of their funniness.

I think Aslan in the Horse and His Boy is excellent as well; perhaps the best representation of him throughout the Chronicles. I loved the way Lewis brought out the fact that Aslan was always there, whether Shasta realized it or not, and how Aslan was always in the form of what they needed most. In the Tombs Shasta needed someone to comfort him; the Cat came. When they raced across the desert, they needed someone to spur them on: the Lion chased them. While he was riding by himself, Shasta needed someone to protect him: the Voice was there. I just adore those parts.

I think Hwin is the model of meekness and modesty. Wow, some alliteration there. I've yet to figure out exactly how to pronounce her name. I fell back on my rudimentary understand of Welsh and pronounce it "Hoo-in."

Hwin is my favorite too. In addition to the graces Siberian Christmas has already mentioned, I love her common sense (it was her plan that they adopted to get through Tashbaan) and her gentle strength -- Like when she spoke to Bree anyway after the lion(s) chased them into the river, even though Aravis was telling her not to. She had a quiet spirit, but she certainly was Not a doormat.

I like Hwin and Corin. And Lasaraleen is hilarious. But my favorite is Hwin, because she's so gentle and nice, and I love her line about, "I would rather be eaten by you than fed by anyone else". That is just so cool. And then I like Corin, because he's so defensive of Queen Susan, and he's funny, too. He's not scared to get in trouble. Oh, I don't think anyone's mentioned Rabadash yet! He's great. You've got to love him, even though he's a creepy jerk.

I always liked Bree because he has a sense of humor. Everything he said made me smile. And Bree is my nickname, so it's cool to have my name be the name of a character in one of my favorite series of all time. :D Even if that character is a horse.
